What Is A Lab-Grown Diamond?

Laboratory-grown diamonds have essentially the same chemical, physical and optical properties as natural diamonds. Their growth environment differs. Specialist gemological testing distinguishes their origin.

What Should I Ask For?

Ask for the stone identity, weight, available quality information, and any laboratory report associated with your chosen piece. A design photograph cannot establish these specifications.

Certification For Your Selection

Report availability and the issuing laboratory must be confirmed for each product. ILLUME does not make a blanket claim here that all pieces are certified by a particular laboratory. If a report is supplied, check its number through the issuing laboratory’s official verification service.
